THERMOGRAPHIES
Thermography is excellent for quality control of a new building or mapping the damaged structures in older buildings.
Thermography quickly provides a clear picture of the thermal performance of structures. The measurement is based on the thermal radiation emanating from the surface of the object to be measured, in which case, for example, cold bridges and air leaks can be located cost-effectively by means of thermal imaging. Thermography can also be used to assess the condition and evenness of the thermal insulation on a case-by-case basis, and in certain cases also the extent of water damage areas.
When thermography is performed as quality assurance at new sites, possible air leaks can be located already during the construction phase, in which case the necessary repairs can be made already during the construction phase on the basis of the identified cold bridges or air leaks.
